Victoria’s annual summer ritual Meredith Music Festival has unveiled the line-up for its 31st edition, fronted by pop auteur Caroline Polachek in her first Australian tour.

The former Chairlift frontwoman will join scuzzy-pop band Alvvays, grime MC and producer Flowdan, bedroom-pop star Alex G, and the previously announced electro pioneers Kraftwerk in the Supernatural Amphitheatre in December.

Homegrown acts on the bill include pub-rock trailblazers No Fixed Address, club favourite dameeeela, Blak Britney singer Miss Kaninna, DJ and producer Moktar, neo-soul artist Bumpy, who just won New Talent of the Year at the National Indigenous Music Awards, punk-rockers Cable Ties, and early-2000s dance-pop group Sneaky Sound System.
