Frank and Dolly's

10:00am - 5:30pm
72a Garden Street East Geelong 3219

Frank and Dolly's began in 2005, but it wasn’t until 2010 that the label opened its first retail store on Moorabool Street. Owners Joel and Rachel Cooper saw it as a chance for them to do something they loved and be their own bosses. The love paid off – three years on, the store moved into this bigger, brighter space.

Rachel designs the brand’s ethically produced pieces, which are dyed and embroidered in Indonesia. The bold, printed culottes and bohemian-style skirts are stocked across Australia, including at Muscrats Vintage and Handcrafted, and shipped worldwide.

The store’s catchphrase, “pieces with soul”, extends beyond its garments. The season’s collection hangs from old iron doorways and gates from the Geelong Restorer’s Barn. All have their own story and history, just like the clothing line. (The store is named after Rachel’s grandparents – Dolly was a seamstress.)

Jewellery is displayed on old roof tiles, also gathered from the Restorer’s Barn. The tiles themselves live in a vintage jewellery cabinet found at the Mill Market, which rests upon an old toilet door that Joel secured to some trestle-table legs.

In-store you’ll also find Maple Soaps, candles by Fickle Soy Candle Co, Japanese ceramics, earrings from Portugal and other items the couple has come across during its travels.
