Anyone who was at South Melbourne Market on Saturday, June 12, between 11.30am and 1.30pm needs to urgently get tested and isolate until they have a negative result. It’s been listed as a tier-two public exposure site.

But Padre Coffee, within the market, is a tier-one exposure site – meaning anyone who visited between 11.30am and 12.30pm on Saturday must get tested immediately and isolate for 14 days from the date of exposure.

A number of other specific stalls have been listed as tier-two exposure sites. They include Fruits on Coventry (12.20pm and 12.50pm), Golden Dragon Asian Grocery (12.44pm and 1.10pm), Asian Grocery Store (12.55pm and 1.15pm), K and L Poultry (1.02pm and 1.21pm) and Kilpatrick’s Meats (1.08pm and 1.30pm).

The nearby Nine Yards (11.35pm and 12pm) has also been listed as a tier-two exposure site.

South Melbourne Market is closed today in light of the announcement.
