The Tigers club song is charting at 37 on iTunes.

I’m not surprised. The Tiges are into the Grand Final for the first time since 1982, plus its theme song is the best in the AFL.

I’ve had it in my head for weeks. It’s a genuine banger.

I'm not biased – I say that as a sad and sorry Melbourne supporter, not a lifelong Tiger. Though any one who’s spent time around me in the past month knows I’m very firmly on the bandwagon, and the song is one of the reasons why. It was definitely one of the motivating factors for going to the qualifying final against the Cats, and the prelim on the weekend – to hear 90,000 people sing that song. In fact, just to hear them yell: “yellow and black!” at the end.

Kath gets it.
