Lorne is Covered in Snow Right Now
It’s September, and it’s snowing. In Lorne. Que?
Images of the Victorian beachside resort covered in snow may already be appearing in your social media feeds, reminiscent of the great Otways snowfall of 2016.
It’s due to a weather system passing through the state today, which is expected to result in one of the biggest snowfalls of the year. The doggos are loving it.
Snow is also expected in the Dandenongs, while showers and hail have been predicted for Melbourne.
A severe weather warning has been issued for most of Victoria, with gale warnings issued for several coastal areas.
