The galaxy didn’t implode when Jerry Seinfeld visited a mural of himself in Melbourne yesterday.

Painted by street artist Lushsux, the mural recreates the 10/10 awkward moment from June when the comedian brutally shut down pop star Kesha’s request for a hug.

Seinfeld stopped by the mural (painted on the side of La Sera Woodfire Pizzeria in Fitzroy North) to pose for photos with his manager of 30 years, George Shapiro, before his final show at Margaret Court Arena last night.

While the temporal reality we currently exist in remains intact, it is yet to be seen what will happen if Jason Alexander visits George’s Bar, Larry David stops by his own hospitality namesake or Julia Louis-Dreyfus stumbles across Elaine Way in the same calendar month.

Let us know of any other Jerry sightings in the comments.
