It’s been a long, locked-down road here. But we did it.
It’s just been announced that 90 per cent of Victorians over the age of 12 are now – finally – fully vaccinated. In case you needed another excuse to get on the beers.

When restrictions eased last week to what was effectively a return to normality, in anticipation of the vaccination milestone, Premier Daniel Andrews wrote on Twitter: “This milestone is huge, and it means we can get back to something very close to normal life – our state thriving, the MCG packed, businesses open and families back together”.
The news comes as the state recorded 1254 new cases of coronavirus, bringing Victoria’s total number of active cases to 10,276.
