The sun might be shining now – and the city thawing – but it’s no surprise #melbourneweather is still trending on Twitter.
We’ve just experienced our coldest morning in four years, with a blistering low of 0.8 degrees around 7.30am. It hasn’t been this chilly since the morning of August 29, 2018.
Across the city, early morning frost bit hard, freezing everything from hoses to bird baths and igniting the obligatory “‘Fuck, it’s cold’” routine across our social platforms.
