Features
Milkboy Espresso and Kitchen owners Shannon Smith (who also brought us Fordham’s Milk Bar in Camberwell) and James Sharplin have brought a splash of Spain into Cheltenham with a little cafe that keeps it simple.
Conveniently located next to the Cheltenham train station, Milkboy provides daily commuters with a coffee, a baguette and a big smile before they head off to work.
Grab a coffee to go or take a seat out the front and sample one of the huge, freshly made baguettes with jamon, onion jam, olives and manchego cheese. If Spanish ham isn’t your thing, Milkboy is happy for you to design your own.
The cafe may be small but it’s using its space economically: Batons of salami and cheese hang from the ceiling above the deli cabinet, drawing the eye down to an array of antipasti. Milkboy uses Coffee Supreme and offers pastries by Noisette.
