From the graveyard of legendary dive bar Pony comes Boney – a late-night, seven day-a-week destination for music, dancing and dining. From the folk behind Revolver Upstairs, Cookie and The Toff in Town, Boney brings elegance and polish to the old venue, while still upholding its cheeky spirit.

Downstairs, a kitchen has been added and the walls, floors and ceiling – painted solid black – are contrasted by the cheeky glow of red neon lights.

Upstairs is now home to the venue's intimate band room, where live independent artists and DJs perform seven nights a week. They are also keeping Pony's infamous 2am live slot, for those who aren’t ready to go home just yet.

The menu – crafted by chef Karen Baston (Cookie, Choo Choo's, Colonel Tan’s) – provides sustenance at lunch, dinner or to take away. Offerings include pork belly sausages, steak tartare, jalapeño donuts and range of weekly specials – matched by a considered wine list and affordable selection of beer and cocktails.

Paying homage to the venue’s past, Boney promises to still be rockin’ until 7am.
