Percy's Aeroplane

Wesley Lim and Michael Smith are the coffee lovers behind Percy's Aeroplane. Operating in a light-filled, high-ceiling interior, painted white with hints of exposed brick, they've put their hospitality backgrounds to good use.

Serving a diverse customer base – from office workers and uni students to mums with bubs – the vast cafe serves all you'd expect in the front and rear rooms, whether on the communal dining table or the courtyard out back.

The menu features salads and sandwiches for those on the run, as well as more substantial dishes such as the steak sandwich and smoked trout.

One of the most pleasant things about Percy's is its strong support of the locals. The bread is from local bakeries and the beautiful wooden tables were crafted by local furniture maker David Davenport.

Additionally, Percy’s Aeroplane has its own roasted coffee blend and offers single origin.
