Four siblings hatched up the idea for Naked Chicks after complaining about the lack of good, healthy chicken options in their area.
Josephine, Domenic, Perri and Alexander Pulitano are health-conscious foodies. Growing up in a food-loving Italian family nurtured their love of quality produce and good flavour.
They source organically raised chickens from a Queensland farm for ethical and nutritional reasons, roast them to perfection and season with Himalayan salt. Eat your chicken naked or dress it with salads, roast veg, rice or chips (potato or sweet potato). Add a housemade sauce such as chipotle or green salsa for an organic party in your mouth.
The generous bowls of salads are made with organic fruits and vegetables and displayed in the fridge. The top shelf is reserved for raw desserts. The addictive peanut butter cups will rival the texture and flavour of any other “clean” treat you’ve come across.
The siblings designed the polished but earthy space themselves, from the striking copper trough, to the Turkish-looking tiles, molecule-like light fittings and splashes of colour in the greenery. It’s a nice place to stick around and enjoy a kombucha, kefir, Green St juice, beer or wine.
