Features
With a long list of environmental pledges, it seems that Dukes Coffee Roasters couldn’t have been better fit for community-owned Ross House in Flinders Lane.
Aside from saving the planet, the team is flat out doing what they do best – pumping out specialty coffee and maintaining the sophisticated reputation built at the original cafe in Windsor (now closed).
The interior has been fitted with recycled tiles and reclaimed timber, and proves warm and intimate with minimal seating. The focus is primarily on coffee, although there is a small selection of pastries from Mosaic for you to either enjoy in or on your way to work.
The knowledgeable staff are quick on service but eager to make specialty coffee accessible for everyone who wanders into their store.
This is owner Peter Frangoulis’ second cafe venture and, with the growing interest and high demand for Dukes signature blend, one can only imagine it might not be the last.
