Features
Spanish for 'drink', Bebida has been around for a number of years. It has seen some changes though - the venue underwent an ownership change and renovation in 2013, reopening to reveal a renovated courtyard and new menu with a focus on locally-sourced food.
An extensive, all-day breakfast menu features corn fritters and breakfast burritos, while a selection of grazing plates includes an antipasto board, pork belly in a weekly rotating style, and even chargrilled kangaroo.
The whiskey is Tasmanian, the gin is from Mornington and the seasonal beer selections are also from local micro-breweries. Even the furnishings are a little familiar, right down to the beautiful old Northcote train station benches.
Keep an eye out for upcoming live shows featuring emerging bands, as well works from local artists hanging on the walls.
