Features
Piccolo Espresso is run by sisters Bridgette and Natalie Orsborne and Natalie's husband, Sam. They transformed the once-grungy space into a slightly more homey hangout after taking over in November 2012.
Nowadays it's filled with a steady base of regulars, who come for the coffee and consistently bouncy vibe. You can expect to be greeted by some very agreeable beats emanating from the constantly spinning collection of vinyl on the twin turntables operated by Sam.
The hearty all day breakfast menu includes smashed avo with shaved parmesan, truffle oil and poached eggs; and sautéed mushrooms on Noisette bread. A take away fridge is packed full of freshly made wraps, sandwiches, croissants and other treats. Pair with a 5 Senses' High Fidelity blend coffee and you're all set.
