Features
Mr Mills is the moody basement sibling to Marmelo, the sprawling Portuguese restaurant opened by celebrated Sydney restaurateurs Ross and Sunny Lusted, the team behind Woodcut at Crown and the legendary Bridge Room.
While both venues draw influence from the Iberian Peninsula, both have their own distinct identities. At Mr Mills, the focus shifts from Portugal to Spain via the considered snack menu and cocktails including a tomato and anchovy oil Martini. An additional supper menu channels Spain’s late-night dining culture with Gildas and mackerel escabeche.
To find Mr Mills, head down a chartreuse staircase inside Marmelo or look for the separate entrance off Melbourne Place.
