Henry and the Fox is yet another culinary venture by restaurateur Paul Mathis, creator of Taxi, Soulmama and countless other endeavours. With head chef Charles James at the helm, the modern menu at this welcoming venue sees some flickers of James’s UK roots. With a design aesthetic intended to be fun and not too serious, homely wooden tables and bright green dining chairs punctuate the eatery’s fit-out.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, suits and other city folk frequent this weekday option. For a quick and easy lunch, try the roasted pumpkin or smoked chicken pizzas. If you’re just grazing, there are plenty of bite-sized nibbles to sample, like the manchego cheese croquettes or polenta chips served with aioli.
Leave some room for the multi-coloured HATF sundae, a combination of sweet bursts of berry and icy sorbet freshness.
