Former police officer Steve Laughlin is behind Albatross Brewing, which is named not after but the bird, but a German fighter plane used during World War One. Albatross has been nomad brewing since 2016 but only established its own site recently. Its current roster of beers includes a pale ale, summer ale, apple cider and porter. In mid 2019 we're looking forward to the opening of the Hanger, the brewery's public bar that will pour the current range and more.
