Gardening and food enthusiasts alike have the opportunity to take a tour of leading garden designer Paul Bangay’s beautiful garden, dubbed Stonefields, near Daylesford this week (November 19 and 20). Proceeds from the tours, including a private tour hosted by Bangay on the Sunday, will go to assist the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation, which educates children on how to nurture their own vegetable gardens and then enjoy their bounty.

“The Foundation connects thousands of kids across Australia with their very own productive veggie garden, where they learn about planting and growing their own seasonal fruit and vegetables,” says Alexander. “As a board member, Paul Bangay passionately believes in improving young lives by introducing them to the lifetime of pleasure that gardens can bring.”

Alexander and Bangay will be at Stonefields over the weekend for book signings. This is a great cause and a great opportunity to nurture a richer culinary and horticultural foundation for our children.

Paul Bangay’s garden will be open on November 19 and 20. Tickets are $20.
