This weekend The Narrows will be launching a publication for exhibition Les Mason: Epicurean Magazine, which we wrote about earlier.

The book features reproductions of all 77 covers and a selection of internal spreads and associated material, all designed by Mason.

Mason’s work on Australia’s first magazine devoted entirely to food and wine has cemented him in local design folklore. An American ex-pat, he was the creative force behind the publication's seminal years from 1966 to 1979.

The book will be launched this Saturday at 3pm at The Narrows and is available on the Narrows website.
