After a week of weather that could have been mistaken for winter, Sunday pulled out all the stops at Werribee Park Mansion to transform the gardens into the French countryside for the afternoon.

Stars of the French music scene – Asa, Moriarty, Fefe and Nouvelle Vague – took to the stage for long and leisurely sets throughout the day, playing covers of everyone from the Sex Pistols to Depeche Mode. French champagne, wine and picnic hampers stuffed with all manner of Parisian delights were consumed as barefooted patrons weaved between picnic rugs towards the stage, played croquet on the lawn and explored the property in large sun hats and summer frocks. Our photographer Erin Neale was there to capture the day in all its glory.
