Features
HUT 13 is a neat little gift and homewares store through the arcade of the Morey Street shops in Armadale. With a peach-coloured door, bright yellow veranda posts and colourful tables and chairs that spill out from Sardine cafe next door, you can’t miss it.
Behind the large copper framed window at the front is a small space where you’ll see a display of woodland creatures, lit candles and trinkets (like tote bags and vases) hanging from the wall. Inside this intriguing little space you’ll discover more treasures you’re unlikely to have seen elsewhere.
While HUT 13 is mostly a homewares and gift store, it is also a space where local and aspiring artists and makers can exhibit their goods. With each visit you’re sure to see something new, whether it be a pom-pom-adorned pillow, a hand-embroidered apron or a stuffed jackalow.
