McGlashan’s Wallington Estate

Russell and Jan McGlashan planted the first vines on McGlashan’s Wallington Estate back in 1995. The conditions on Victoria’s western coast are perfect for growing cool-climate drops such as chardonnay, pinot noir, pinot gris and shiraz.

Along with a cellar door that offers tastings of the couple’s award-winning wine, the winery has on-site eco-villas. Each villa is large and spacious, with open-plan living, a luxurious bathroom with a walk-in shower and a large deck with heating, a barbeque and spectacular views over McGlashan’s vineyards and the lush farmland beyond. All rooms include kitchen facilities, a living space and one super king bed to accommodate two guests.

Villa guests receive a complimentary bottle of wine, as well as a free wine tasting at the cellar door and discounts on purchases. The cellar door is open from Thursday until Sunday and serves gourmet platters, woodfired pizzas and of course, wine.
