Hounds Run Vineyard Tiny House
Hounds Run is a small boutique vineyard just 10 minutes from the Great Western wine village, and the tiny home sits at the edge of the vineyard’s merlot and shiraz vine rows.
This compact accommodation is both secluded and self-contained. It features a queen bed, kitchenette with dishwasher, and essentials such as coffee, tea and breakfast spreads; plus a bathroom with shower and composting toilet. A solar panel on the roof and gas heating make this an entirely off-grid retreat.
Guests are welcome to scout the vineyard in their downtime, or simply relax on the alfresco deck and enjoy 360-degree vistas of the surrounding property. It’s a spectacular lookout to the Black Ranges and Sugarloaf hill in the distance. Fire up the barbeque for a sunset dinner or go in on one of the vineyard’s picnic packages with a few drops of Hounds Run for good measure. There’s no light pollution out here, so it’s perfect for stargazing.
If one vineyard just isn’t enough, Seppelt, Grampians Estate and Best’s Wineries are moments up the road. Halls Gap and the Grampians National Park are waiting to be explored just a 30-minute drive away.
