Drift House is a grand Victorian estate encompassing two buildings and six private, self-contained suites. The front half of the main building retains a charming Victorian aesthetic, while at the back, there's a modern extension clad in perforated metal with a glass link joining the two sections.

Head to The Salon, a dining and lounge space inside a free-standing garden pavillion, for breakfast each day and dinner three nights a week – inspired by rustic Spanish dishes.

Breakfast is an à la carte offering and focusses on locally sourced ingredients such as Irrewarra sourdough and house-made plum jam, coconut-milk chia puddings, cheese from Heidi Farm in Tasmania, charcuterie from Salt Kitchen in Ballarat and free-range boiled eggs.

Suites include creature comforts: specially commissioned artwork, luxurious sofas, mosaic-tiled bathrooms, a bathtub, a huge projector screen, external electric sun blinds, a huge open balcony and a mini bar full of products by mostly small, Victorian producers. Suite 6 has also been designed with people with limited mobility in mind.
