Henry’s Bar and Restaurant
Henry’s Bar and Restaurant is housed inside the historic Northern Club, a gentlemen’s club that opened in 1894. With a moody interior, Chesterfield lounges and roaring fireplace, it’s the perfect spot for a full-bodied red, a single-malt whisky or a hearty dinner.
In the dining room, there’s a minimum of three courses per person, or you can do a full degustation with matching wines. The restaurant’s signature dish is poached chicken with lemon cream, sage, apricot and wild rice.
For something smaller, the bar offers platters of cheese, meats and olives. It also stocks top-shelf whisky and other spirits, plus wines from local vineyards. Each week Henry’s runs Whisky Wednesdays, where guests do neat tastings, discuss tasting notes and learn more about the stuff.
