Features
Perched high on Canberra’s Red Hill lookout, Lunetta is an Italian dining destination by restaurateur Tracy Keeley and sons Matthew and Nicholas that’s only added more clout to the capital’s impressive dining scene.
Executive chef Tristan Rebbettes (ex- Saint Peter, Cafe Paci, Mona Farm) leads a kitchen focused on fire. Upstairs in the dining room, expect sophisticated Italian dishes and an expansive wine list. Meanwhile, at Lunetta Trattoria downstairs, the menu is more relaxed and spans antipasti, pasta and woodfired proteins.
The mid-century modernist site – built in 1963 – has been revamped by Sydney studio ACME and honours architect Enrico Taglietti’s original vision, with panoramic bay windows framing sweeping views of the capital.
