Features
Rosa’s is an all-day al fresco eatery overlooking the historic rose gardens in Canberra’s Parliamentary Triangle. An airy deck, festoon lighting and rosy-pink umbrellas extend out from the ordering window, tucked behind South American diner Ballyhoo and Japanese fine diner Koto.
In the mornings, coffee and pastries fly out the window. At lunchtime there are ready-to-go paninis, panuozzo (a pizza sandwich) and pasta specials like aglio e olio with lemon and garlic confit.
The woodfired oven serves pizza throughout the day – from classic margherita, and pepperoni with olives, fennel seed and fior di latte, to prawns with fried capers and chilli flakes. There’s also woodfired flatbread, great for scooping up stracciatella topped with hazelnut agrodolce.
To drink, find beer and cocktail taps pouring hops and spritzes. Can’t find a table? No worries, grab a picnic rug and stretch out on the lawn.
