Coffee Supreme Gibbon Street is the Brisbane flagship for the New Zealand roaster which supplies coffee to some of Brisbane’s best cafes.
The venue combines a familiar mix of handsome brickwork, tiles and wood features with flashes of Coffee Supreme’s vivid red.
The menu also stays classic. One-handed eats such as toast with banana and cinnamon-sugar “crack butter” and avo-on-rye with labneh are a simple complement to the coffee. Baked goods from Alphabet Cafe populate the counter each day.
As for coffee, Coffee Supreme leads with its espresso, batch brew and cold filter, pouring seasonal blends and rotating single origins. The batch brew is produced with a Fetco brewer and Mahlkönig EK43 grinder.
