As the distinguished outfitter of Brisbane gents, The Cloakroom is a multi-pronged destination encompassing a bespoke suiting service, two in-house labels and a barber.
Made-to-measure menswear has always been at the heart of the operation, with every suit made using impeccable French Dormeuil fabrics. Ready-to-wear pieces from in-house label Pistols at Dawn fill out the rest of your wardrobe, along with Carmina shoes, a collection of hats by local milliner Felicity Boevink, fragrances and Veja sneakers from France.
As more gents have wisened up to the value of investment pieces, The Cloakroom has also incorporated made-to-measure denim service, Initial Denim, into its fold. The fabric is sourced from Japan and Italy and is tailored into jeans using traditional Japanese techniques. All of the pieces for this and Pistols at Dawn are handmade by The Cloakroom’s own tailors, who are sticklers for detail.
True to its style, The Cloakroom is discreetly posited above Elizabeth Street, among a growing hub of luxury retailers. Wind you way up the staircase to find the sartorial outpost and take advantage of the on-site barber service while you’re there.
