Yamas is the West End diner from Tassis Group, serving Greek eats all day, every day. The al fresco space is vibrant and welcoming, decorated with terrazzo tiles and chic lighting. The food is equally fun, with a menu designed for sharing.
Across a sprawling newspaper-sized menu, you’ll find salata (salad), meze (snacks), mains, souvla (skewers), a raw section and more. But don’t be intimidated – you can’t go too far wrong. Start with zingy tzatziki, olives and oysters, then move on to warm plates like lamb ribs, halloumi chips or spanakopita. Don’t miss the souv – melty, slow-cooked chicken or lamb served with lemon rice, grains, herbs and tzatziki.
For the indecisive, Yamas offers multiple banquet options. Zeus is the smaller set, Spartan the mid-tier choice, and Olympian the seafood-heavy gold-star feast. All of them will leave you full to the brim on excellent Greek.
