On the menu at Hudson Corner you’ll find pulled pork drizzled in barbeque sauce and Buffalo wings with creamy blue cheese dipping sauce.

You’ll notice 12-hour hickory smoked Wagyu beef brisket and barbeque pork ribs. You may then be very surprised to learn that original owner, Matt Lim, was a practising dietician.

Still, this is no green smoothie-toting paleo haven. Lim’s inspiration can still be seen in some fresh side options such as spicy coleslaw, pico de gallo salsa and green chilli rice. Otherwise, new owner Phil Calcutt and a couple of silent partners have doubled down on an intoxicating selection of smoked meats, burgers and burritos.

Top it off with a freshly baked cherry pie and a cold beer from Hudson’s rotating drinks menu, featuring the likes of Sierra Nevada through to the ever dependable Coors.

Keep Wednesdays in mind, when Hudson peddles $1 wings and buckets of Budweiser for lunch and dinner.
