Fitz + Potts
Fitz + Potts is distinctive for both its food and drink, which are savoured amid a backdrop of vintage vim and eclectic kitsch. Vibrant velvet furniture, 1960s wallpaper and a blend of textiles, colour and summer ambience set the scene in the old farmhouse-turned-Queenslander-turned-bar.
The liquor menu is entirely Australian. The bar supports quality boutique and craft wineries, breweries and distilleries across the country. You won’t miss Tanqueray when you’re sipping a West Winds gin, or Lagavulin when you’ve chosen one of Tasmania’s finest.
The food – a fluid menu encompassing grazing platters and jaffles for vegan, gluten-free and carnivore diets, is created onsite. Other specialties from the Goat Pie Guy and Picklehead Pickles and are on offer via the friendships Fitz + Potts have forged, thanks to the local village mentality.
