Features
Milky Lane is a popular Sydney-based burger chain. This 200-seat Newstead venue is the first Brisbane location. The space is dark and moody, with large hip-hop-inspired murals and bright neon lights. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights there’s a DJ.
Highlights on the menu include the Chic-Kanye, which comes loaded with Southern fried chicken, maple-smoked bacon, and double American cheese and slaw. The Limp Brisket has 12-hour-smoked beef brisket, American cheese, slaw and sauerkraut. If you’re after a classic burger, the top-seller is the Milky Lane burger with a Wagyu beef patty, double American cheese, lettuce, pickles, onion and tomato.
Desserts include your choice of Golden Gaytime or Magnum coated with crushed biscuits and cornflakes, deep-fried and drizzled with maple syrup and Nutella. Cocktails are just as extravagant; there’s a Reese’s Peanut Butter Martini and a Kit Kat choc-fudge booze shake.
