Features
Double Good is an ice-cream stall that consistently produces some of the most over-the-top ice-creams in Brisbane. An ice-cream here could come as soft serve dished up in a bowl of chopped fruit, or sandwiched between two slices of watermelon, or even as a choc-top-esque chocolate-coated ball on a stick. If you’re after something that goes beyond the typical cone or cup, this is the spot to get it.
The menu has a broadly North American theme. Rural fair staples such as funnel cake topped with whipped cream or doughnut fries generously topped with ice-cream are two particularly popular options.
Double Good is only open on weekends, and can be found among the neon lights of Eat Street Northshore. It’s fairly easy to spot: there are about 30 lightbulbs and spotlights all pointing towards the large, image-heavy menus above the stall. If you see a bombe alaska, you’re in the right place.
