Kaikai Chicken opened in St Lucia last month to much fanfare. Probably because it’s an all-you-can-eat Korean, American and South East Asian fried wing joint just outside the gates of the University of Queensland.
Next Tuesday, to celebrate the recent opening, KaiKai’s owners Phillip and Michael Tan are offering free wings and chips from 1pm to 3pm, and then 6pm to 8pm.
“We were planning this from the beginning but were waiting until we knew we could handle the crowds to make sure everyone was happy,” Phillip says. “Everyone is welcome.”
The offer includes three pieces of wings with a serving of dirty fries. All you have to do is show you liked and shared KaiKai’s Facebook page when you order.
Phillip reckons that’s just the start. KaiKai is also introducing unlimited pork ribs for $42.90; the price includes the bottomless fried-chicken buffet the restaurant is already known for. And a birthday deal that gets the special guy or girl a free fried-chicken buffet up to two days either side of the big event (bring your ID, obviously).
KaiKai Chicken. Can’t stop. Won’t stop.
