Last week was National Caviar Day. Next week is International Beer Day. That means this Saturday must be National Chicken Wing Day. It was invented in 1978 by then Buffalo, New York mayor Stan Makowski and it has since made its way to us across the Pacific.

This Saturday July 29 The Coop Bistro in Fortitude Valley is celebrating with all-you-can-eat wings for $19.99.

On offer from 11.30am to 10.30pm are The Coop’s sweet and spicy sticky wings; gluten-free tangy barbeque wings; and the vegan-friendly vinegar-battered cauliflower wings. Your first plate comes with a wristband, which you can then use to re-order as many times as you like.

Your Valley night out starts here.
