The Effervescence champagne event is back for 2019, renamed Blush by Effervescence and with a special focus on rosé champagne. This year’s event will take place over just one afternoon of lunch, tastings and masterclasses at the historic Hanworth House in East Brisbane.
Set in the garden of the 155-year-old property, the event will include a four-course, truffle-filled lunch prepared by celebrity chef Alastair McLeod, a Champagne for a Cause masterclass focusing on six iconic 1996 champagnes (with proceeds benefitting Chicks in Pink), and a cooking with champagne class. If you just fancy an afternoon drink, that’s fine too – general admission tickets are available for a mini tasting trail of wines from six different champagne houses.
