Lobster and champagne taste damn good together.

It’s a truism of life understood by sell-out Sydney pop-up, Lobster Shack, which has teamed up with Veuve Clicquot for one of the best out-of-town events of the summer.

Until January 28 Lobster Shack will be at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, occupying the corner of Queensland Avenue and Surf Parade. The Shack is slinging a wild-caught clearwater Maine lobster tail roll, slow-cooked in a butter bath, stuffed inside a brioche bun and served alongside parmesan truffle fries, for $35; for $15 extra, Veuve is offering a glass of champagne.

The pop-up is running daily from 12pm to 9pm or until sold out. Our advice: book a room, stay the night.
