Matt Lee and Justin Kong are expanding their burger empire with the launch of a new store, Little Miss Kay’s. To celebrate, they’re offering half-priced cheeseburgers.

The idea behind Little Miss Kay’s is simple: much-loved lunch and dinner staples from Miss Kay’s served quickly and conveniently as takeaway only. “We saw a gap where a lot of our customers wanted quick, grab-and-go style burgers instead of sitting down,” Lee says.

The menu is largely the same as Miss Kay’s, featuring favourites such as the Mac Daddy Burger loaded with mac’n’cheese and fries, and the Austin Flowers spiced tempura cauliflower burger. But the store won’t be offering the milkshake or breakfast menus – at least for now. “We are looking at adding [milkshakes and breakfast items] eventually,” Lee says. “Besides that, it’s all the things that people love about Miss Kay’s – just smaller and quicker, hopefully.”

As the name suggests, the new Woolloongabba venue's 159 Logan Road premises are smaller than the existing CBD and Mitchelton stores and won’t be licensed.

Little Miss Kay’s opens for the first time this Saturday June 10. To celebrate, it’s offering half-priced cheeseburgers from 10.30am to 9.30pm. The only catch: it’s one per customer and you have to sign up here.

Half-price cheeseburgers are available on June 10 at the Woolloongabba store only, from 10.30am to 9.30pm.
