Finally, Howard Smith Wharves is getting serious about reopening to the public.

Starting tomorrow, both Felons Brewing Co and Mr Percival’s will reopen in accordance with current Covid-19 restrictions, with up to 20 people seated per section. The venues will offer table service only, and guest details will be recorded upon entry.

New contactless ordering systems and menus have also been implemented at both venues, allowing guests to order and pay directly from their phones.

Howard Smith Wharves’ popular Weekends on the Lawn will also kick off on Saturday June 20, with al fresco food and drinks served on the precinct’s East Lawn overlooking the river and Story Bridge.

Greca, Betty’s Burgers and Goodtimes Gelateria have also reopened, some with limited operating hours. Cantonese restaurant Stanley will reopen at a later date.

“Whilst the road ahead will be quite different than we’re used to, and still somewhat uncertain, this news is certainly a step in the right direction – and an exciting milestone after a difficult few months,” Howard Smith Wharves founder and director Adam Flaskas said in a press release today.

“Safety is of course our top priority, for our team members and guests, and we look forward to working closely with the authorities in this first phase of reopening and in the coming months ahead to keep our community safe.”
