Hai Hai Ramen is popping up in Woolloongabba this weekend, taking over PopMega Hospitality Group sister venue Superfly Funk Eye to show off its ramen-making skills to south-siders.
On Friday and Saturday nights Hai Hai will move into the Eden Lane restaurant to offer two bowls of noodle soup: a Tokyo shoyu ramen of smoked chicken, seafood and vegetables. And a vegan garden ramen with tofu and a shiitake and kombu broth. For those who want something a little extra, a reduced selection of items from Superfly Funk Eye’s usual menu will also be available.
The drinks menu features Suntory yuzu highballs, cocktails and wines from Superfly’s all-Australian list.
Superfly Funk Eye’s ramen nights are this Friday August 31 and Saturday September 1, 6pm–9pm. Booking is recommended.
