Over the past four years Seoul Bistro has become a south-side go-to for Korean fried chicken; diners come from across Brisbane for Paul and Rob McMullen’s finger-licking fare. The wings are known for being light and succulent, and come with the option of seven different sauces, including yang nyum (sweet ’n’ spicy), honey wasabi and buffalo with blue cheese sauce.
Tomorrow you can get them for free. From 12pm to 2pm the McMullens are celebrating the restaurant’s fourth birthday by giving each customer four pieces of fried chicken in either original or honey-soy flavour, along with a serve of fries and a taster of iced tea.
“We want to give back to the community and show how important each and every customer is to us, which is why we’re giving away free chicken wings, fries and iced tea. We’ll be stocking up with over 400 kilograms of wings,” Rob McMullen says.
The McMullens are expecting lines. Hence the $10 voucher they’re handing over to the first 50 people they find queued up at 12pm (you can use the voucher at your next visit, Rob says).
Just be aware the offer is takeaway only.
