Crepe Kamon in West End has teamed up with Yoshimi Takeyama's Yoshi Japanese Cooking to host a bunch of cooking classes celebrating Japanese cuisine. Takeyama is a Brisbane-based dietician who has more than 20 years experience working as a cooking teacher.
From July 30 to September 24 there’ll be five classes, all showcasing different elements of the Unesco-heritage-listed cuisine. You can master a basic Japanese meal (gyozas and udon from scratch), prep the perfect bento box, and learn how to use miso in different dishes, including desserts. Each class focuses on a different skill, so don’t be shy about signing up for multiple dates.
Tickets are $100 per person, per class. Each class only has space for 12, so be sure to book early. You can do that here.
