Murarrie’s sprawling brewpub Brewdog Dogtap is arguably the best-placed venue in town to become a drive-through right now, in the midst of the coronavirus crisis.
The team has a whole lot of beer to off-load and masses of Brisbanites who need food, brews and entertainment – but who are also self-isolating. The solution, as venues across the country are discovering, is pick-up.
This week, the Brewdog crew began operating a contactless drive-through at its Murarrie outpost. It offers a full takeaway range of food, beer and wine, including one-off releases and sour beers from the brewery’s Overworks facility, dedicated to wild brews and sours.
The menu includes burgers and fries from $19.50, pizzas from $18 and craft beers from $4. Customers just need to download the Brewdog Hop Drop app (available via Google Play and the Apple App Store) to make their order. You can drive-through or even sail-through using the jetty outside the brewery. Emergency services personnel will receive 50 per cent off their drive-through collections.
Brewdog is also delivering beer via the Hop Drop app, with food delivery available via Deliveroo and Uber Eats from this Thursday, March 26.
