Sea to the City: Brisbane’s Bug and Oyster Trail
Seafood lovers unite: it’s time to once again salute our city’s world-class food offering with a leisurely (and communal) riverside stroll past eateries and pop-up stalls for one day only.
Following a 2020 cancellation due to covid-19, the beloved bug-and-oyster trail Sea to the City is back on this year, capping off the inaugural Dine BNE City program. The alfresco food trail started in 2018, with more than a dozen bars and eateries joining in.
As you dive into fresh oysters, Moreton Bay Bugs and other seafood dishes, you can pair them with craft beer, wine, cocktails and live music – plus spectacular views along the Brisbane River.
Stretching along City Reach from Eagle St Pier to Customs House, the free event will run across seven hours on Sunday 30th May from 11am – 6pm, linking up delectable menu items from Madame Wu, Mr & Mrs G’s Riverbar, Coppa Spuntino, Rico’s, Fatcow Steak & Lobster, and Customs House, among others.
