Mid-Week Dining From $25 at Howard Smith Wharves

You know how you start the week determined to meal prep, save cash and live on leftovers? If you’re anything like us, those plans start to lose their shine by Tuesday at the latest. To combat mid-week meal fatigue, waterside dining precinct Howard Smith Wharves has come to the table with a string of varied and affordable deals running from Monday to Thursday.

Over at Felons, the Barrel Hall is serving chicken and cashew stir fry with Thai basil and chili jam, warm pork salad with chili lime dressing and crispy rice cakes, and a comforting beef curry with fresh egg noodles, pickled mustard greens and zingy fried garlic – each meal is just $25 a pop. Or if a pub classic takes your fancy, the main Felons Brewing Co restaurant is serving $25 smash burgers, eggplant parms and baked fish.

Louis Tikaram is one of the city’s best chefs and a sneaky lunch at Stanley is the perfect way to experience his Cantonese cuisine. Tikaram’s contribution to the mid-week deals is a two-course lunch for $49 per person. Begin with a choice between duck spring rolls or cucumber and snow pea salad and then choose from Shanghai duck noodles, Beijing shredded beef, or soy poached chicken for mains.

Over at Greca there’s a $35 souvlaki platter with a choice of chicken souvlaki, haloumi or veggies and all the trimmings. Yoko is serving a picture-perfect seasonal bento for $35.

These mid-week deals run Monday to Thursday until April 3.
