All proceeds go to the Red Cross to provide lifesaving aid to people in Lebanon, so tuck into the restaurant’s signature banquet, enjoy music from traditional drummers and try your luck in a raffle – all for a good cause.

All-day diner and deli The Green is known for serving lush and traditional Lebanese cuisine from its signature charcoal grill. On Friday November 15, the Fortitude Valley hotspot is hosting a fundraiser in aid of the Lebanese Red Cross. Tickets cost $100 and all proceeds are going to the Red Cross to support those in need in Beirut and across the country.

Guests can dig into slow-cooked lamb shoulder followed by an array of dips, mezze and salads. To finish up there will be a selection of baklava donated by local Middle Eastern baker So Sweet.

Keeping vibes high will be DJ Elie Merhej and traditional drummers from Sahra Entertainment.

Guests will also have their chance to win raffle prizes including $2,000 worth of treatments at Edwards and Co, vouchers to local restaurants such as Gerard’s, Essa, SK Steak & Oyster, Central and Southside, jewellery and, of course, the a classic meat tray.
