Free Milklab Oat Float Coffees
Looking for a more sustainable alternative to your usual morning coffee? Milklab is giving away coffees that are sustainable in three ways.
First, it uses the plant-based milk alternative brand’s new oat milk, which has a smaller environmental footprint than regular dairy. It’s also served in eco-friendly cups that you can eat afterwards to reduce waste. And it’s more sustainable for your wallet, too: they’re being handed out entirely free.
The team’s baristas are using coffee beans from local Queensland roasters and the first 100 coffees gifted each day will be served in cups by Good Edi, made from oats and grains. They’re edible, 100 per cent vegan, biodegradable within 14 days and don’t change the flavour of the drinks they carry.
Milklab is giving thousands of free coffees away at three Brisbane pop-ups in October.
