Art is for everyone, so pick up your first original piece this weekend.

After a highly successful debut event in 2024, Affordable Art Fair returns to Brisbane for a four-day celebration that aims to make buying art accessible and affordable to all. This year’s fair will feature more than 50 local and international artists, showcasing thousands of original works, all priced between $100 and $10,000.

The 2025 fair spotlights a range of First Nations artists, including Lauren Rogers, Chloe Watego, Nikita Fitzpatrick-Newly, Sue Mitchell and Nathan Rodgers-Falk, with work presented by Yaama Ganu Gallery and Aboriginal Contemporary.

There will also be live painting from Rogers along with other artists including Nick Olsen, Caitlin Lever, Brad Turner at the festival’s Artist in Action station, as well as interactive pop-art installations by District 23. Budding young artists will have the chance to express themselves with the Children’s Art Studio curated by artist Tenyka Jay, complete with a seven-metre mural, watercolour whales and free face painting.

If you’re new to the art world, there’s plenty of expert guidance on hand to help you make purchases that are right for you, and even give you advice on hanging.

Tickets are on sale now.
